Update: Sadly as of late the quality of the meat has declined. Also I'm very disappointed in how management handled a mistake on my part. I purchased $70 in groceries and accidentally forgot to grab a bag with $20 of items. Within a half hour I called the store and the manager said to come in and she'd review the situation with upper management and take care of me. I went back and stood outside the office for nearly 20 minutes while they reviewed the video (monitored by a camera) watching me checkout. She acknowledged I did not grab all my bags and could see it on the video. She then mentioned a woman after me grabbed all the bags and if I wanted to I could leave my phone number in the event the woman returned the bag with my items. I previously owned a business in WI and if a customer approached me with the same issue I would have given the customer their items or money! It's a minor write off especially for a company the size of Food City. I shop there because of the convenience but time permitting I will go elsewhere. My husband use to joke that I hadn't been to Food City today... I use to shop there at least 4 to 6 times a week easily spending a couple hundred of dollars a week. It's the principle of the matter and valuing your customers!
Have been to this location a total of three times and two of them have been horrible. Pricing integrity on meat products is very questionable and front end staff does not have proper training to handle issues. Store is clean and fairly stocked but checkout service is poor.
Best food city I have been to. I've never had to wait in line. The place is really nice not what I expected art all.
So glad that Food City replaced Bi-Lo in our area. Much better meat and service along with better prices. Their monthly "Midnight Madness" sales on Friday are awesome.
Very clean with friendly service. Excellent seafood selection that is the best quality we've found in the area at very reasonable prices!
Compared to other food city locations, I find this one to be much more personal and to have a much better set up. The managers are usually very friendly and helpful and the majority, (not all!) of their cashiers are friendly.
